SMEs 'could find emarketing is crucial to successful campaigns'

Using emarketing methods can help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) set themselves up for the long-term, it has been said.
Smaller firms in particular may find they are able to put together successful campaigns which provide good value for money, revealed Chris Lake, editor in chief at Econsultancy.
He continued: "It can generate increased business from repeat customers and it can help attract new customers.
"It is incredibly useful from a measurement perspective."
Companies can use emarketing to support their offline marketing strategies, Mr Lake emphasised, which can help them gauge how much return they are getting on their investment.
They will also be able to determine which marketing campaigns work and which do not, he added.
Research from YouGov recently found that 31 per cent of SMEs agreed when asked whether they would be investing more in marketing and seven per cent strongly agreed.
