P&O boss resorts to creative marketing

One P&O boss has poked fun at the recent rebranding of Oxford Airport through a creative marketing campaign of his own.
After the decision was made to rebrand the facility as London Oxford Airport - despite it being 50 miles from the capital - bosses decided to rename Dover ParisDoverPort.
Spokesperson Brian Rees said: "The imagination applied to airport names is pure genius.
"Frankfurt-Hahn is nowhere near Frankfurt, Barcelona Girona isn't exactly handy for Barcelona and Oslo-Torp is a heck of a journey from Oslo."
He added that by using the airport's logic, Dover is not far from Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the world, which would give it more appeal to travellers.
The Port of Dover's official website revealed that it is the closest English port to France, which is 21 miles away.
Millions of passengers and vehicles travel through the Gateway to Europe each year.
