Experian tool to 'boost fitness club membership'
Category: Creative work | 29th Aug 2008
An address validation tool from Experian will be used by Fitness First (FF) in an attempt to build its membership across Europe, Asia and Australia.
In addition, FF will also use Bank Wizard from strategic payment software solutions and services provider Experian Payments.
FF has around 1.5 million members across these three markets and these tools will enhance their service experience, its chief information officer Steve Homan said.
He explained: "We are passionate about our customers having a positive membership experience and that means getting their vital information right first time."
The software will be used to validate international addresses and international bank account details, meaning that new memberships can be processed quickly.
It may also improve FF's reputation for data storage - earlier this year personal contact and financial information from its clients was found in a discarded bin bag in Bolton.
FF also markets a training programme specifically at women - Fitness First for Women.
