'Many reasons' for SEO investment
Category: Measurement | 30th Mar 2009
There are plenty of reasons to continue investing in search engine optimisation (SEO) and other online marketing strategies, it has been claimed.
Kevin Gibbons, writing for Econsultancy, said that companies can check how much return on investment is being achieved as search tactics, such as pay-per-click, meaning that it is simple to measure how much money is being brought back.
Mr Gibbons also suggests that the costs are highly controllable.
"There are so many different aspects of SEO that there is a suitable level for every business to engage with, whether it is a comparison website or a local organic veg grower," he commented.
Mr Gibbons adds that a decent SEO firm will have various options for different budgets on top of tailored tactics to suit diverse business types.
Earlier this month, Econsultancy and Adestra's Email Census 2009 suggested that email is a vital weapon for marketers during the recession.
